About the Artist

Ed Mundy studied art in institutions of “higher” learning on the east and west coast, plus graphic design in Chicago. The guidance of Ken Mackintosh’s engraving and etching courses, emphasized the power and expression of minimalistic lines and forms. This played an important part in his success as a self employed graphic designer, working in Germany, Holland and Basel Switzerland, where he also opened and curated BlackWall Gallerie.
The love of the ocean and sailing has led him to sail the Baltic Sea, live along the east coast in Charleston, Jacksonville and now Wilmington upon his return from 3 winter months in Portugal in 2022. Living in small fishing villages along the southern coast and he explored their historic cities and towns and countless art galleries and museums.
His works hang in art collections in Basel Switzerland, Speyer Germany, Pinehurst and several firms, the latest being, Law Firm Kirkland & Ellis, Munich Germany.
